Blue Collar Mini Storage Reviews
Taraisme
They charged me for an additional month because I requested to move my things out on the first of the month, instead of the last day of the month. I live many hours away and couldn’t move into my new place until the first of the month. I explained that to them, and still they took a payment from me for the whole month, refusing to prorate it for just the day. Yet They had no problem prorating it for when I moved in late through the month. Crooks! I had 2 other storage units in the Kootenays that I had to clean out the same day and neither of them charged me more. It was a greedy move. Then they tried to accuse me of not sweeping as if they were gonna charge me an additional $100, even though my daughter did and she fid a great job. It Shouldn’t have mattered if I did or didn’t anyways at the point I moved my things out since the unit shouldn’t be available for re-renting after they made me pay for it. I’m a single mom, very low income, they were completely unreasonable. All about the bottom line no compassion or customer consideration.-

Recommendations before choosing a Storage Service
- Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for storage providers with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of service and reliability.
- Confirm what is included in the storage service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as unit size, climate control, access hours, and any additional fees.
- Ask about security and safety measures: Find out what security systems are in place, including surveillance cameras, gated access, alarms, and on-site staff to protect your belongings.
- Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in Canada and ask about insurance options to protect your stored items against loss or damage.
- Request a written quote and rental agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the rental agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, contract terms, and cancellation policies.
