This place is a nightmare! We rented a truck a week in advance to ensure there would be one available on our moving day (the website only offered PM options, which was strange, so we chose a 4:30 PM pickup). When my husband arrived, they told him, “Oh, we forgot to put a key for you, so you’ll have to wait until 7.” He returned at 7, only to be told that they had canceled our reservation and rented the truck to someone else, who’s picking it up at 8 AM. despite the fact that we had booked it from 4:30 PM to 8 PM! We had the elevator reserved based on that timing, too. Now, we’re scrambling to find another truck just two hours before we need to move. They clearly don’t care!!! They even said that they had nothing to do to us!

I rented a 9ft truck for my move well over a month in advance. I decided to change the type of truck for a larger one while seeing that it was available on the app. Not long after, I received a voicemail saying that my reservation was canceled because the option I reserved for wasn’t available nor the time I selected due to it being moving season. This is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and a LACK of CRITICAL THINKING on UHaul’s part. The history of my reservations should appear on their side and instead of digging further, they decided to automatically cancel it and without any offer to replace it. Logically, this was reserved for moving day and I absolutely needed the truck.

Reserved a truck a week in advance specifying the exact location a few times on the phone and when I arrived they told me my reservation was at another location (other side of the city at rush hour ://) and they did not call to tell me before so I got late to my contract which was very important.
