Entreposage Montréal Mini-Storage - Hochelaga Reviews

Jefrey Momen (5)
Excellent service! They were very courteous and gave me all the details. The unit was affordable. Only $29,99/month for the first six months. They have other sizes as well. If you need storage, I definitely recommend Montreal Mini Storage.

First of all, they charged me the wrong price and finally after providing screenshots from their website, they said the website was wrong and offered me the price as originally quoted. So, I took this as a mistake. However, I have since decided to cancel and was told to email. I did, and received no reply and no confirmation. I'm not sure how trustworthy they are.

Rented a unit on a thursday, showed up next day with a truck to store my things only for the electric system to be shut down for over a day... no notification sent to warn. I had rented the truck for a few hours only so this really sucked. A notification would have been nice at least, but to have the system shut down for so long, it's just not the best way to take care of customers' experience. Mind that this happened on the July 1st weekend where everyone is moving in MTL. Ended up renting a unit at public storage which was cheaper and WAY better.

Recommendations before choosing a Storage Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for storage providers with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of service and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the storage service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as unit size, climate control, access hours, and any additional fees.
  3. Ask about security and safety measures: Find out what security systems are in place, including surveillance cameras, gated access, alarms, and on-site staff to protect your belongings.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in Canada and ask about insurance options to protect your stored items against loss or damage.
  5. Request a written quote and rental agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the rental agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, contract terms, and cancellation policies.
