I wish we could give a rating lower than 1 star but okay. My wife and I loaded up a U-Haul with our stuff and with the two of us it only took 20 minutes. We drove to the storage unit ready to go and cash in hand. They closed at 5 and we arrived at 4:20 but when I walked into the building I asked them if we could move in, the lady gave out a big sigh, and said we close at 5. So I said yes, and its 4:20 and my wife is downstairs and is ready to go right now. She then sighed again and asked her friend what she thought and they suggested that I come back in the morning. I said no thank you we will rent somewhere else and I walked out. Now I understand if they don't get paid over time and didn't want to stay late, but we had plenty of time and they were just being lazy. My wife and I are so grateful that we wont have to deal with them ever again.

Recommendations before choosing a Storage Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for storage providers with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of service and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the storage service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as unit size, climate control, access hours, and any additional fees.
  3. Ask about security and safety measures: Find out what security systems are in place, including surveillance cameras, gated access, alarms, and on-site staff to protect your belongings.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in Canada and ask about insurance options to protect your stored items against loss or damage.
  5. Request a written quote and rental agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the rental agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, contract terms, and cancellation policies.
