I used Sem’s moving to move from Montreal to Toronto. This was a big move! 26 foot truck+3 movers and i had to leave some stuff back. They were professional and didn’t slack off and tried their best to fit everything in one truck. The way they placed the boxes and furniture in the truck was astonishing. They aren’t cheap but at the same time they were honest. The price they quoted me was very similar to what the final bill was (+200$ due to the amount of stuff i had). They didn’t hold my stuff “hostage” until I paid or any of those dirty tricks moving companies do usually. They were clear about their stair fees and appliance fees. Only complaint is they charge a 3% credit card fee if you want to use a card. 3% for a large bills adds up.

SEMs Moving and Storage are everything you want in a mover. The initial response was within minutes. The quote for our small office was a simple hourly rate for labor and an inclusive travel fee. They totally knew what crew and truck size was required. The movers arrived a few minutes early, and were professional, quick, and careful. They stayed focused, and were great to work with. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

I received important information in a timely manner and the two crew arrived on time the day of the move. They were professional, well equipped, considerate of the few specialty items I have, and took care to protect my furniture and paintings very well. The crew was professional, hard working, efficient, polite, and personable. I was very impressed with the quality of service and the transparency of the estimate and final cost.
