I bought a used car in march 2024 from mcgillivray and it supposedly passed inspection. On Oct. 6, 2025, I took it for a pre inspection and to address a exhaust leak but the mechanic found dangerousl extent of rust on the sub frame in the front and on the rocker panels. I drove this car, sparingly, just 1 winter. This car would not pass inspection as is, even though it was passed for inspection. I can't drive my car for fear of something breaking due to the amount of rust. I spoke to the general manager about this and suggested this car could not have accumulated this much rust in 1 winter of driving. He said he would get back to me. I have yet to hear from him, despite emails and phone calls. Draw your own conclusions.
