Was charged for an extra month of rent after my scheduled move out day due to a misunderstanding about a lock needing to be removed, I moved out on time and they charged me for a full month. After calling they informed me they refunded three weeks of rent but would be keeping 1 week as they did not check if I had moved out untill a week after the date I was scheduled to leave. They were extremely rude and confrontational regarding this issue when I called to ask what the charge was for. The rental was a good experience untill this.

So easy to use and from downtown Halifax, a 25 minute bus ride, 3 minutes walk and you are there!

Paid for a po box there for my rental mail for over a year. My ex tenant left with a remote so to save her gas, I told her I had a box there. She tried to drop a properly addressed envelope with the mailbox number listed and they refused it. Said they only take mail from Canada Post. So no couriers. No drop offs. I have wasted a whole heck of a lot of money on this box and when I finally needed it, they refused it. They never disclosed that they would only take mail from Canada Post. I have dealt with the fact that they are often closed when they list being opened which means I can't check my mailbox each time. Wasted time and gas going there each time but I knew I would only be able to check when open so I grumbled but accepted it. But now they tell me I can only use the box for Canada Post mail? Really unprofessional and a waste of money.
