Highway 20 Self Storage Reviews

Facility is nice. However they don’t respond to emails or website contact submissions. Sent 3 emails and 3 contact forms via website over six days - no replies. Frustrating and disappointing.

The facility was clean and staff was courteous at first. I received a bill and paid it then needed to empty it two days later. They refused to pro rate the transaction in any way. I requested a copy of the contract then was blocked from email. Never received a copy. No phone calls nor texts have been answered. Basically I paid over $200 for two days of rental. I was not rude just questioned it. Politely. They chose to ignore me. Very sad they way I was treated and cheated out of my money

Now that I have I finished renting a storage unit in this facility I wanted to leave a second review. After working enough in the customer service and hospitality industry, I find it very important to acknowledge people for hard work and/or great products, as these things aren’t always easy to come by.

Recommendations before choosing a Storage Service
- Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for storage providers with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of service and reliability.
- Confirm what is included in the storage service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as unit size, climate control, access hours, and any additional fees.
- Ask about security and safety measures: Find out what security systems are in place, including surveillance cameras, gated access, alarms, and on-site staff to protect your belongings.
- Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in Canada and ask about insurance options to protect your stored items against loss or damage.
- Request a written quote and rental agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the rental agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, contract terms, and cancellation policies.
