Black Bridge Storage Ltd- Lyndhurst Reviews

John Childs (1)
This is a nice little facility, BUT, they have ZERO SECURITY. On the weekend of Feb 8-9, 2025, about ONE DOZEN units were broken into. Many $$ thousands of dollars $$ of merchandise was stolen. This facility has one tiny video camera that WAS NOT WORKING. They have NO guidelines for renters to use high quality locks or carry their own insurance. There is NO fence. Anyone, at anytime can drive right in, clip a cheap lock, and leave will ALL YOUR STUFF. Don't get burned. Don't use this facility. If you have stuff here, get it OUT, or get it INSURED. Under the current situation, it's going to be stolen.

Recommendations before choosing a Storage Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for storage providers with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of service and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the storage service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as unit size, climate control, access hours, and any additional fees.
  3. Ask about security and safety measures: Find out what security systems are in place, including surveillance cameras, gated access, alarms, and on-site staff to protect your belongings.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in Canada and ask about insurance options to protect your stored items against loss or damage.
  5. Request a written quote and rental agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the rental agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, contract terms, and cancellation policies.
