Woodland Home Building Centre Reviews

Barton Cutten (5)
Really good folks, they helped the Glace Bay Food Bank build a greenhouse by donating some lumber and fasteners to build doors. Excellent business to support, kudos to come hardware being in so many small communities.

The employees here don’t take any responsibility for their mistakes. If you want better customer service go to Cameron’s or even Home Depot. There’s a reason why people don’t shop local anymore and it’s because of businesses like this.

If I could give 0 I would. Tyler, the manager, kept talking over me instead of letting me express my frustrations that his staff purposely delivered the wrong size lumber to my house and didn’t inform me. When I took the time to take it back to exchange it I was told it wasn’t a mistake. As manager it is his job to take responsibility for his employees errors instead of being defensive and telling to complain to some Radom person in the street instead of him.

Recommendations before choosing a Storage Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for storage providers with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of service and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the storage service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as unit size, climate control, access hours, and any additional fees.
  3. Ask about security and safety measures: Find out what security systems are in place, including surveillance cameras, gated access, alarms, and on-site staff to protect your belongings.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in Canada and ask about insurance options to protect your stored items against loss or damage.
  5. Request a written quote and rental agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the rental agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, contract terms, and cancellation policies.
