Mini Mall Storage

The whole experience was terrible. I arrived from out of town after having booked a unit online. When I arrived they gave me the wrong code for the gate. It took more than 30 minutes to reach someone on the phone to help. Once in the gate the unit could not be easily found and when found we could not enter. The person on the phone did not want to help any longer so I needed to call back and speak to someone else. Once speaking with the second person she informed me they booked 2 different units. I asked her to cancel the second unit as I only asked for one. This did not happen for two months, so I was over charged for two months. Its now 4 months later and I still don't have the refund for the extra unit. It has been frustrating and terrible dealing with them.

Very terrible service. After moving all my belongings inside the unit, I get an e-mail a couple days later saying they will be replacing the doors and to do so they will remove all contents of the unit and repack it. I had left the country and could not go back. I was not warned this would happen despite renting it just days prior. I had fragile belongings. Getting the keys to the new lock they installed was complicated as I was out of country. When I came back, I found several paintings had been ripped and my bed frame was damaged. My belongings were re-packed very poorly. No apology from the company, just instructions to make a claim to my own insurance. I cleaned out the unit and left it locked with the lock they installed but now I am told I need to go back and unlock it for them because they never have staff on site. Do not use this company. Gate code they gave me was also wrong.

UPDATE - Wednesday, July 30 - After I followed up the next day with customer service, I demanded that a manager respond t my emails/messages. They did contact me within 24 hrs by phone and waived a fee that I requested. They also assured me that they are looking to hire someone to be onsite at the Nelson site.
